Terms & Conditions: 100% Success Guarantee

Thank you for considering gamedev:hq and our 100% Success Guarantee program. Our mission is to provide you with the skills, tools, and support necessary to secure a job as a game developer, software developer, or XR developer after graduating from one of our certification programs. Below are the terms and conditions that outline eligibility and requirements for this guarantee.

1. Eligibility

To be eligible for the 100% Success Guarantee, you must meet the following criteria:

1.1. Enrollment: You must be officially enrolled in all of the following programs:

  • Certified C# Developer (Unity) program (A/CCSD)
  • Certified XR Developer (Unity) program (A/CXRD)
  • Certified C++ Developer (Unreal Engine) program (A/CCPD)

1.2. Completion: You must successfully complete each program by:

  • Earning the certification associated with each program.
  • Completing all required coursework and assessments.

1.3. Career Preparation: You must also complete all the following career readiness components:

  • Career Readiness Training.
  • An online portfolio showcasing your projects and skills.
  • A complete and optimized LinkedIn profile.
  • A professionally formatted resume.
  • Documenting your coding experience consistently throughout the program.

1.4. Work Authorization: You must have the legal right to work in the country where you are seeking employment.

2. Program Requirements

To qualify for the guarantee, students must fully engage with the program. This includes:

2.1. Attendance and Participation: Attending all required sessions and participating in program activities as instructed.

2.2. Effort: Completing all assignments, projects, and tasks on time and to the best of your ability.

2.3. Application Process: Actively applying to relevant jobs in the industry during and after the program.

2.4. Communication: Keeping regular communications with the gamedev:hq team and adhering to their guidance throughout the job search process.

3. Timeframe for Job Placement

The 12-month job placement period begins on the date of your official program completion (graduation date). If you do not secure employment within this timeframe, you may apply for the refund.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund under the 100% Success Guarantee:

4.1. Application Submission: Submit a written request to our support team at [[email protected]] no later than 30 days after the 12-month job placement period.

4.2. Supporting Documentation: Provide evidence that you:

  • Completed all program requirements.
  • Actively applied to jobs (e.g., job application records, interview logs).
  • Followed the guidance provided by gamedev:hq.

4.3. Review Process: gamedevhq will review your request and supporting documentation within 30 days. If all conditions are met, your refund will be processed in full.

5. Exclusions and Limitations

The 100% Success Guarantee does not apply in the following circumstances:

5.1. Non-Compliance: Failure to complete all program requirements, including coursework and career preparation components.

5.2. Lack of Effort: Inadequate participation in job applications or failure to follow job search guidance provided by gamedevhq.

5.3. Personal Limitations: Inability to work due to personal, health, or legal reasons, including lack of legal work authorization.

5.4. Job Rejection: Turning down job offers or withdrawing from hiring processes.

5.5. Force Majeure: Events outside of gamedevhq’s control that impact your ability to complete the program or secure employment (e.g., global pandemics, natural disasters).

6. Program Changes

gamedevhq reserves the right to modify or discontinue the 100% Success Guarantee program at any time. However, such changes will not affect students already enrolled under the terms of this guarantee.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the 100% Success Guarantee program will be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as determined by gamedevhq.
